Some travellers want the celebrity tigers of Tadoba, the named cats whose territorial patrols are followed across seasons. Others want the uncrowded quiet of Nagzira, where a leopard on a rock feels like your discovery alone. Our 5-day Tadoba–Nagzira wildlife safari tour package refuses the choice and delivers both in the sequence that actually works on the ground.

The order matters. Tadoba runs first when sighting odds are highest and the celebrity tigers of the reserve, Maya, Matkasur, and the current generation, are on most travellers' short lists. Nagzira follows in the northern Bhandara-Gondia belt, where a jungle safari in Nagzira National Park delivers denser forest, fewer vehicles, and stronger odds on leopards, sloth bears, and gaurs alongside the tigers.

Day 01

Arrive Nagpur – Tadoba (140 km / 3.5 hrs drive)

Our representative will meet you at Nagpur railway station or airport and transfer you to Tadoba - Andhari Tiger Reserve, set in the Chandrapur district as Maharashtra's oldest and largest tiger reserve. On arrival, check into your wildlife resort, freshen up, and enjoy lunch. The evening is free for an easy nature walk near the resort, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Tadoba Jungle Safaris

An early morning pickup takes you into the reserve for your first jeep safari, the best window for birdlife on the move and fresh pugmarks on the forest track. Return for a hearty breakfast and a midday break at the resort. In the afternoon, head back for the evening safari, when tigers are most active as temperatures drop. Alongside the big cats, Tadoba shelters leopards, sloth bears, gaur, wild dogs, sambar, chital, four-horned antelope, and the elusive rusty-spotted cat. Return to the resort before dusk for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Tadoba – Nagzira (approx. 250 km / 5-6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, drive to Navegaon-Nagzira Tiger Reserve in Bhandara-Gondia district, tucked into the northeastern corner of Maharashtra and often called the Green Oasis of Vidarbha for its dense, undisturbed forest. Check into your wildlife resort on arrival. The evening is free for a nature walk around the resort, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Nagzira Jungle Safaris

A morning jeep safari takes you deep into Nagzira, a quieter reserve with strong odds for tiger, leopard, sloth bear, gaur, blue bull, and four-horned antelope. Return to the resort for breakfast and a midday break. Head back out for the afternoon safari when predators move as light softens and prey concentrates near water. Peafowl, grey jungle fowl, and red spurfowl round out the forest cast. Return for tea, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 05

Nagzira – Nagpur Departure (approx. 150 km / 3.5 hrs drive)

An early morning safari takes you back into Nagzira for one last drive. Return to the resort to freshen up, enjoy breakfast, and drive to Nagpur for your onward journey.
